The OSS Works event aims to make the OSS standard accessible to a broad audience. To that end, a trade fair will be held this fall at the Brugg-Windisch campus of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
The goal of the event is to bring end users and manufacturers together. The trade show will be open to interested industry professionals on October 26 and 27, 2016.
Vision ID will be participating in the event and will personalize visitor badges. A photo of the visitor will be taken using a live camera and printed on the badge along with the visitor’s personal information. In addition, the badge will be electronically encoded using the OSS standard, making it ready for further use. The encoding process is integrated into the printing process and takes place directly in the card printer.
