OSS Works aims to bring the OSS standard to a broader audience. For this reason a trade fair event will be held in autumn at the Campus Brugg-Windisch University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. The event is organized by Interessengemeinschaft Offline Standard iGOS.

The aim of the event is to bring together end users and manufacturers. The fair takes place on 26 and 27 October 2016.

Vision ID will also be present as exhibitor and will personalize the visitor badges. A live camera will take a picture of each visitor and the picture will be printed on the RFID badge together with the personal data. Additionally the badge will be electrically encoded with the OSS standard and is therefore ready for further usage at the other stands. The chip encoding is integrated into the printing process and occurs directly inside the card printer.
